Green smoothies are a great way to get your raw green leafy vegetables along with fresh fruits everyday. When I learned about living a natural lifestyle to prevent disease I learned that having regular daily bowel movements was the key to preventing most illness.

When I question people about their health many people realize that they have been constipated (not having one to three large healthy fully formed bowel movements a day). A morning fruit and vegetable green smoothie is one way to make sure you get fiber, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and a meal all at the same time.
